EarnIt collects information to provide and improve our services. The types of information we collect include:
Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you create an account using Sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address.
- Profile Data: Fitness level, workout preferences, time commitments, and goals you set within the app.
- Family Information: If you use Family Mode, information about family member profiles you create.
Information Collected Automatically
- Workout Data: Exercise types, repetitions, duration, and completion status.
- App Usage: Which apps you lock and unlock, and usage patterns.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version.
- Camera Data: When using AI pose detection, camera frames are processed on-device and are never transmitted to our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our services
- Track your workout progress and streaks
- Sync your data across devices via iCloud
- Provide personalized workout recommendations
- Enable family management features
- Send you important updates about the service
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest.
AI pose detection and camera processing happen entirely on your device. No camera footage or images are ever uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With Your Consent: When you explicitly agree to share information.
- Service Providers: With trusted partners who help us operate our services, subject to strict confidentiality agreements.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.
5. Children's Privacy
EarnIt's Family Mode is designed to be set up and managed by parents or guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. Family member profiles are created and controlled by the account holder.

- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Export your workout data
- Opt out of non-essential communications
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of EarnIt after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
